Meet our leadership team
Great eye care starts with great people. Spring Hill Eyecare’s leadership team brings decades of combined experience, nationally recognized expertise, and a shared commitment to making every patient feel at home. Here’s a little more about the people you’ll meet.
Melanie, CPO
Melanie has been with Spring Hill Eyecare since January 2008. Melanie started as an optometric assistant and is now our practice administrator. She is the machine that keeps the whole business going. Occasionally, she will still conduct your pre-testing and special testing before you see the eye doctor to stay sharp in that area. Melanie enjoys meeting patients and helping meet your eye care needs.
In 2018, Melanie was named Tennessee Paraoptometric of the Year. At the 2019 SECO meeting in New Orleans, Melanie was named Paraoptometric of the South! At Optometry’s Meeting in St. Louis, she was named the American Optometric Association’s Paraoptometric of the Nation for 2019! In 2021, she was named Practice Manager of the Year, beating out 280 other candidates from the USA and Canada!
More about Melanie
Melanie grew up in Alabama. She graduated with a BS degree and has done graduate work in counseling and social work. She is married to Dale, an Alabama fan who preaches for the Spring Meadows Church of Christ, while she proudly cheers for the Auburn Tigers. Together, they have two grown sons and five beautiful grandchildren.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with family, entertaining, watching football, reading, relaxing on the porch swing, and seeing our 50 states (they’ve already visited 34 as a family). She also loves summertime, collects Santas, and is determined to develop a green thumb while living in Spring Hill.

Jeanne, CPO

Jeanne joined Spring Hill Eyecare in March 2014 as an optician. She is now the manager of our First Impressions Team and also assists with billing, filing, and verifying insurance and vision plans. She looks forward to meeting patients and helping them with their eye care needs.

Jeanne grew up in a small Indiana town, just across the border from Cincinnati, Ohio. After getting her BA in Psychology, she married her high school sweetheart and moved to Tennessee, where they raised two beautiful children.
In her free time, Jeanne enjoys watching movies, coloring, playing tennis, and has been known to whip out a mean tap dance. Jeanne’s home is always filled with music and laughter. Although she loves Tennessee, she does miss Skyline Chili and makes it a point to have some whenever she visits family.

Amie joined our team in October 2016. Amie wants to live in a world where pajamas are considered day wear, rivers flow with good southern sweet tea, and books are always buy one, get one free.

After moving to Spring Hill from Georgia, she discovered her two sons were mature and capable young men who did not need mom at every turn, leaving her free to follow her own path.
As an optician with more than 20 years of experience, Amie has seen almost everything but always appreciates a good challenge.
When Amie is not helping someone to see the world more clearly, you can find her with a book in hand, pondering life’s mysteries.

Jessica joined our team in June of 2019. She is the 6th generation to grow up on her family’s TN Century Farm in Marshall County. In 2018, she received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Jessica and her husband recently moved back to the area to be closer to family. In her free time, you can catch her climbing mountains at 3 am just to catch the sunrise. She also loves cooking for others, traditional southern food being her and her family’s favorite. She is passionate about advocating for and serving others. She looks forward to meeting you!

About Caitlyn
Caitlyn joined our team in August 2019. Caitlyn was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. She has always lived close to family and loves getting to spend quality time with them. She attended college at Brigham Young University Idaho and Majored in Child Development and Marriage and Family Studies.
Caitlyn and her husband moved to her hometown in 2016, and they have two cats, Lightning Bug & Stormy, and one dog, Daisy Mae. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. Caitlyn and her husband are active in their church community. She loves the ways you can express yourself with frames. You will often find Caitlyn finding ways to serve and care for others, and she looks forward to serving you!

Abby joined our team in January 2022. She grew up in Fairview and then moved to Columbia in 2016. She is a graduate of Spring Hill High School. Abby has two children, a son and a daughter. When not working, she spends time with friends and family while creating the life she loves!

About Christen
Christen joined our team at the end of February 2022 as an optometric assistant. She grew up in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High in 2008. She currently lives in Columbia.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with family and friends. She likes to get in touch with her creative side by doing nails and dancing. She got married in August 2021 to her best friend, Kayden. They have a fur baby (Rockie) that keeps them on their toes. She had 1.5 years of experience in the optometry field prior to joining Spring Hill Eyecare, and she enjoys working with others!

Winter joined our team in January of 2023. Born and raised in Middle Tennessee, she grew up in Lewisburg and graduated from Marshall County High School in 2019. She moved to Spring Hill in November 2022. She loves musical theater and spending time with her boyfriend, Coby.
In her free time, she likes to watch her favorite shows: Star Trek: The Next Generation, Supernatural, and Dr. Who. Winter also loves to watch musicals and go to the zoo. She joined Spring Hill Eyecare with prior experience as she became an optician in November 2021, and it was then that she decided that a career in optics was right for her. She absolutely loves what she does and is excited to be here at Spring Hill Eyecare.

Michelle joined our team in February of 2023. Born in Michigan, she grew up in Franklin most of her life. She graduated from Centennial High School in 2008. She has a passion for helping children of all abilities.
Before joining Spring Hill Eyecare, she worked for Williamson County Schools for nine years. She has a beautiful daughter, Madison, and an adorable rescue dog named Moose. In her free time, she enjoys working out at CrossFit Spring Hill and spending time with her family. Her love for serving others has led her to Spring Hill Eyecare, and she looks forward to meeting you!

About Wendy
Wendy joined our team in May 2023. She has been in the eye care profession since 2013. She is a lifelong Maury County resident, having grown up in Columbia and moving to Mt. Pleasant in 2009. That is the same year she married her husband, Johnny. She is also a mother to an amazingly awesome daughter named Willow.
When not working to keep the family cat in the lifestyle he is accustomed to, she enjoys history, reading, and all things spooky. She is also a published author with an essay featured in The Morbid Curious Issue #7.

About Ree
Ree joined Spring Hill Eyecare in May 2023. She was born and raised in California and moved to Tennessee in 2015. She recently married her best friend, Trent. They have two cute dogs, Bud and Khaleesi.
One of her favorite things to do is to spend time with the ones she loves. Ree also likes to watch movies, listen to music, and learn to cook different dishes. She’s worked as an optometric tech since 2021. She says she could not have asked for a better job and is so grateful to be a part of this amazing team.

About Rebekah
Rebekah joined our team in July of 2023. She’s a Spring Hill native. After graduating from Spring Hill High School, she spent almost 2 years in home health, where she found joy in helping and taking care of others. Her spare time is usually spent with her boyfriend, Jacob, and their two dogs, Daisy and Dozer. They love to go camping all year long and take random trips to different aquariums. She also enjoys various types of cooking and home remodel shows when she finally gets a second to rest. She loves what she does and is excited to be here at Spring Hill Eyecare.

Kaylee joined our team in October of 2023.
She was born and raised in northeast Ohio and moved to Tennessee in the summer of 2020. Shortly after graduating from Spring Hill High School, she landed a job at Spring Hill Eyecare and says she could not be more thankful for the opportunity. Not only does she get to help people see, but she also makes them feel more confident and beautiful in their eyewear.
Outside of work, Kaylee enjoys cooking, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends. She loves to travel, go on adventures, and take naps with her dog.

Brooke joined our team in September 2024. She was born in Minnesota but grew up in Tennessee. She graduated from Spring Hill High School. In her free time, she loves to read, play with her dogs, hang out with her loved ones, watch The Simpsons, and try out new recipes in the kitchen. Brooke is really passionate about what she does at Spring Hill Eyecare and is thrilled to be a part of the team!

About Keri
Keri is one of Dr. Rob’s sisters. She was one of the first employees of Spring Hill Eyecare when it first opened in 2005 alongside their mom and other sister. After perusing other careers for several years, and raising two incredible teenagers alongside her husband, Brian, Keri returned to Spring Hill Eyecare at the start of November 2024. She truly enjoys making each and every patient feel at home in the office and loves to make people laugh. In her free time, Keri enjoys spending time with family, taking care of her elderly rescue Yorkie, Minnie, and reading.
